And the Boycotts Begin

Locals want to Boycott Starbucks

Interesting enough, I was trying to cut off all the traffic of 8th circle by taking that road next to Nadi Il Siyarat, anyways I was driving by Starbucks...and saw all this tagging on the wall on Starbucks, and I had to stop and take pictures. I mean it was pretty cool but whoa, they were quick to remove all of this.

Cuppicakes

Cupcakes are a Girls Best friend!

When I first moved to Jordan, I didn't work or do anything for a full 7 months..completely bored out of my mind. My cousin worked as a KG teacher, and I ended up working there for a little bit...But you know..it just wasn't my cup of tea..but I taught a Pre-K class named the lady bugs! I fell in love with that class....So for their last day of school...I stayed up alllllll night long baking and decorating cupcakes that looked like lady bugs...and here is what they looked like!

The little lady bugs wanted some as soon as I brought them!

Aren't they precious!

These right here, were made for my cousin's KG class by both my cousin and I! They Turned out perfect!

They took a lot of work, but they worked out in the end

My special Creations!

Here is the story behind these...I made a pumpkin cake out of scratch, including the pumpkin (which I cut up into pieces and baked it and all that good stuff) Well...my oven was acting up for some reason, and the cake cooked on the outside in 10 minutes. So I left it baking on very low just to get the inside cooked. I scraped off the burnt part, crumbled it up by hand and added the cream cheese cinnamon frosting I normally use on the outside. I got the idea from Bakerella to make cupcake pops, but I wanted to make them candy like. Long story short, I made little balls of cake and froze them...they were divine!!

I made so many cupcakes and cakes and cookies and always forgot to take pictures...but the ones I did take pics of I'll be putting up...like my attempt at making my Turkey cupcakes for thanksgiving...not my favorite...

Of course my cute husband digging right into a chocolate covered cupcake! (he really is my biggest fan )

With my creation (Here's the deal with the back end...I couldn't find a cookie that looked like the back end of a turkey, so I made home made sugar cookies, and used a flower cookie cutter and ended up cutting in half and using only half to sit in the back, but because the cookie was heavy, it kept falling!!! But I guess they could be worse!

The world's best home made pecan pie...I'm going to toot my own horn but this is one of my best recipes!!!

My Husband's 28th Birthday!

Happy Birthday my Love!!!!

I got the giant cupcake baking pan from California and wanted to make it for the first time for my husbands birthday!!! It worked out...for the most part =) For those who know Zaki, they know he has an obsession with baseball...so the top of the cupcake was a baseball made from fondant!!

I had left overs from the cake that I had to cut, so instead of throwing them away, I made cupcake bites (thanks to Bakerella!) and used mint candy as the chocolate covered part. But Zaki wanted to help, so he ended up doing them all...and they were so cute and tasted fabulous!!!

Look how excited he is of his work

They are so cute hahahaha

I LOVE YOU

Took the cake to his parent's house to celebrate with us

Then off to Shaman for another celebration with some of his friends

I didn't take many pictures...grrrr
